Brand Character Motion
FireBase Characters
To drive engagement around Firebase Summit 2019, I designed and animated a social sticker pack featuring Firebase’s mascot, Sparky, alongside an original character I designed, Amy the Pineapple. The goal was to make a developer-focused product feel alive and shareable on Instagram. Distributed via GIPHY, the stickers have been used over 6 million times and helped expand characters relatability to the core audience.

Learning Badges
I designed and animated a series of product-specific learning badges to reward developers as they completed training milestones. Each badge used distinct color and shape systems tied to its product area, creating a cohesive visual language. The motion functioned as a lightweight UI reward, adding motivation and clarity to the learning experience.
I designed and animated UI walkthroughs demonstrating key Google Pay product flows. The animations were exported via Lottie as JSON files, ensuring scalable integration on web. The animations lived on the Google Pay site, helping users understand core features through clear, intuitive motion.

To showcase new Google Assistant capabilities, I created a motion piece illustrating how voice commands interact with everyday devices. The animation used simple visual storytelling to demonstrate common use cases such as controlling appliances and managing tasks through voice. Working within Google’s design system, I developed style frames and motion graphics that made the product’s functionality clear, engaging, and approachable.

For Google Developers, I designed interactive AR filters that brought Google’s visual language into playful, shareable camera experiences. Using motion graphics and character-driven visuals, the filters encouraged developers to engage with the brand and share moments from launches and community events.
